How to make pizza dough | Pizza dough quick and easy recipe by Hifza Zohaib
1. Intro
Pizza dough is a great way to learn the basics of bread making, it can be made in less than an hour and is a quick way to make a fresh homemade pizza.
Pizza dough can be made after you have softened your dough, but I prefer to use the dough that’s already hardened from rising. It’s easier to work with it and you can prepare the dough in advance for the next day.
Now that you know how to make pizza dough, here’s how to make it by using easy steps.
2. Ingredients
This is a quick and easy recipe to get you started with your homemade pizza dough. It can be used to make any type of pizza from thin crust to deep dish.
This is a great recipe if you are having difficulty making the dough. If you have never made pizza dough before, try this one first. One of my favorite parts about making pizza for me is the slow cooking process that makes the dough well worth the effort.
I'm Hifza Zohaib and I'm going to show you how easy it is to make pizza dough at home using just six simple ingredients!
Some people are intimidated by making pizza dough at home due to the long process of kneading and rising before baking. However, it's nothing that can't be done in no time! Here's how to make up some good old-fashioned homemade pizza crust at home!
1 cup Wheat Flour
2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
2 Tablespoons Salt
1 cup Warm Water (110°F or above)
Mix all ingredients in a large bowl using an electric mixer until well combined. The dough will be sticky, but don't worry about that; add more flour if needed. The dough will be quite soft, so work quickly when kneading it – just remember not to overwork it, or else the dough will be tough! After kneading it for about 5 minutes on a lightly floured surface, divide it into 12 pieces and put it into separate bowls/cans, cover with plastic wrap, and let rest for an hour (or overnight). When ready, divide each piece into 3-4 small pieces and roll them out into thin rectangular shapes – these should take about 10 minutes each. Once shaped, place on a floured surface and use your hands to stretch them out until they are round without tearing them – they should hold their shape pretty well after being stretched out like this. When ready, preheat the oven or heat on a gas or electric range at 450°F (230°C). Bake for 1 hour or until golden brown on edges – remove from pan immediately when done or they may stick during cooling/drying process! You can also bake these on an electric griddle pan set over medium heat if you'd rather avoid taking them out of the oven while still hot; this helps crisp them up even quicker than oven-baking does! These should take about 15-20 minutes per side if baked on an electric griddle pan over medium heat; bake
3. Step 1: Combine Flour, Salt, and Yeast
When you want to bake pizza, a lot of people choose to use store-bought pizza dough. It may not seem like a big deal, but it is. A store-bought dough usually has some problems: it doesn’t have the right amount of flour and yeast that the recipe tells you to use, or it comes in a mix that has too much salt.
How can you solve these problems? Easy! Just make your homemade pizza dough.
Step 1: Combine Flour, Salt, and Yeast
1 cup warm water
2 tsp yeast (5g)
1 tbsp sugar (5g)
1/4 tsp salt (0.5g)
Combine all the ingredients in a bowl and mix well with your fingers. Cover with plastic wrap and let sit for 20 minutes before using. You can store the dough in an airtight container for up to 3 days without refrigeration; if you want your dough to last longer, refrigerate it at least overnight before using it. (You can also freeze your dough for up to 6 months.) It’s important that you don’t use more than 4 cups of flour per batch as the recipe will yield smaller pies than usual; our dough only requires 3 cups of flour for a 9-inch pie.)
Step 2: Mix Dough Together With Your Hands
While waiting for the first rise, fold the flour mixture into the yeast mixture until there are no dry spots in the mixture anymore. The mixture should be well mixed but not sticky — try lightly kneading between your hands by patting down on the top and bottom of your fist with each passing hand so that there are no dry spots left behind on either side of your fist — until it forms a ball with most or all of its air bubbles gone from it. This can take several minutes depending on how much flour you add while kneading. If there is still some dryness left after this process, put another handful or two of flour into each ball just before adding them to another bowl so they form a nice smooth pastry that is ready to be formed into balls (see picture above). This step is optional but we recommend doing this anyway as having extra flour on hand helps ensure that even more air bubbles are released during final shaping when pressing out the dough onto a pizza pan(s). When all of your dough has risen, assemble it onto a floured surface and knead very briefly until smooth and elastic (20
4. Step 2: Add Water and Any Oil
The easiest way to make pizza dough is to use a mixer. The dough should be slightly sticky, but not too sticky.
I used a stand mixer and the dough was so sticky that I had to let it sit overnight in the fridge before I shaped it into a pizza. And if you take the extra time to shape it into a crust, it's going to be even better than original homemade pizza! (Just remember: you can always give it a second try and use less flour!)

5. Step 3: Knead Dough
A pizza dough recipe that is not only quick and easy to make but also tastes great.
For those of you who are familiar with the traditional dough, this is a very simple recipe to follow. You just need to knead it for 7-8 minutes.
The dough doesn’t have to be made from flour, it can be made from any kind of food you want. As long as it is made from flour and yeast, you can use this recipe for pizza dough.
The dough takes no more than 5 minutes to knead, so it’s possible to make this right at home in a few minutes!

6. Step 4: Let the Dough Rest in a Cool Area
Pizza dough is a simple recipe that you can make yourself. This easy recipe is great for beginners and makes a soft homemade pizza crust. You can use your favorite pizza sauce, or you can use our homemade Mozzarella cheese sauce. There are no meat, eggs, or dairy ingredients in this easy dough recipe. We’ve also collected a bunch of other great recipes for homemade pizza crusts and toppings that are all made with simple ingredients. Check them out below:
The first step to making pizza dough is to make the dough. Here's what you need:
• 3 cups of flour
• 1 cup of warm water
• 1 teaspoon of granulated yeast
• 1/2 teaspoon sugar (use honey if possible)
• 1/2 cup olive oil or melted coconut oil
This recipe was adapted from the popular "How to Make Pizza" cookbook by Pizza Hut
7. Step 5: Prepare the Sauce and Toppings
In the last post, I shared my recipe for an easy pizza base which you can use to make your homemade pizza. Now, let’s look at how to prepare the sauce and toppings.
Preparation of the Sauce and Toppings
For this recipe, you will need:
1. White flour
2. Water In a bowl, add 1 cup of flour and 2 cups of water. Stir well until there are no lumps. If you have some lumps or if it feels dry, add a little more water (pinching at it) until it is not too sticky. Let it stand for 15 – 20 minutes (but longer if you have some leftover dough) before using since you’ll be using it later on to make the pizza crust.
3. Salt In a separate bowl, add 4 tablespoons of salt (I recommend kosher salt because it has more flavor) and 1 cup of cold water. Mix with an electric mixer or a fork until no lumps are remaining in the salt mixture (you may want to add a little more water as needed). This will help enhance the taste of the sauce and give your pizza crust that extra bit of flavor! You can also use any type of salt you like here; just be mindful that some types can get salty over time if kept in the refrigerator or out in direct sunlight during hot weather seasons (like California).
4. Olive oil is one of my favorite ingredients for baking bread and pizzas because its light texture makes it almost like butter but without any taste changes! If you are already using olive oil in your cooking then feel free to skip this step but most people do prefer olive oil over regular butter because its unique taste is less artificial than butter (meaning tastes better!). You can also use any other type of oil as long as you don’t mind being able to see where it comes from since they all have different flavors! For example, vegetable shortening or corn oil are both fine options but I prefer olive oil since I think other flavors might get lost in regular shortening or corn oil… And trust me when I say that there isn’t much difference between them anyway!
5. Extra virgin olive oil I prefer olive oil over refined oils because its milder taste won’t overpower your pizza toppings but still gives that extra bit of fat without being heavy tasting like standard oils will be! The best way to find
