PSL 7: Practice matches dropped as conflict happens in Karachi
KARACHI: The training meetings of the groups taking an interest in the seventh release of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) have been dropped after MQM-P laborers and pioneers conflicted with the police during a dissent at Shahrah-e-Faisal against the questionable nearby government charge, Geo News announced.
Four groups were booked to rehearse before the competition, which is set to begin tomorrow (January 27) at the National Stadium. The training match between Peshawar Zalmi and Islamabad United was booked at Moin Khan Academy. In the mean time, Karachi Kings and Multan Sultans were set to net practice at the National Stadium.
The matches were dropped inferable from the gridlock after conflicts ejected between MQM-P dissenters and the police, per sources.
Lahore Qalandars and Quetta Gladiators rehearsed at the National Stadium in the first part of the day meeting. The groups were returned to the inn through a backup way to go to keep away from gridlocks.
